| Michael Bond's latest novel, "Paddington Here and Now' has been nominated for two book awards.
The first is the Booksellers Association's Independent Booksellers Book Prize 2008 and Paddington is one of ten children's books which have been shortlisted. Customers of independent bookshops are being asked to vote for their favourite and the winner will be announced on 31st October.
The second is the inaugral Roald Dahl Funny Prize. There are two categories and 'Paddington Here and Now' is one of six books to be shortlisted in The Funniest Book for Children Aged Seven to Fourteen.
