|  Lloyds TSB report that the recently completed Paddington Bear Badge Appeal for Action Medical Research has been their most successful appeal ever. Clip-on badges, such as the one shown on the right, went on sale last November in branches of the bank throughout the UK.
Steve White, Service Excellence, Lloyds TSB, stated:
‘Lloyds TSB have been delighted with the Action Medical Research Paddington Bear badge appeal. We currently run three counter campaigns every year and the Paddington Appeal has without doubt been the most successful with five highly collectable designs capturing the imagination of both our staff and customers.’
Paddington’s intrinsic appeal and empathic personality has played a major part in the success of this campaign.
To co-incide with Action Medical Research's annual Bring Your Bear Campaign, a new badge appeal is being launched and the Paddington badges, available in five designs, will be on sale in all branches of Halifax and Bank of Scotland for the month of June.
